Pecan Cake
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 c sugar
- 1 c butter
- 3 c flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cloves ground
- 1 c buttermilk
Directions
- Cream butter add sugar and beat until fluffy
- Add beaten eggs
- Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to butter mixture
- Fold in pecans
- Bake in a well-greased lightly floured tube pan 9-inch
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until straw inserted comes out clean
- Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing
- This can be baked and stored for a couple of days
- Keep cool
