Pecan Cheese Bars

Ingredients
- 12 c butter or margarine
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c light corn syrup
- 4 eggs beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
- 1 14 c pecan halves
Directions
- Combine butter sugar and corn syrup
- Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves
- Cool slightly
- Add beaten eggs gradually
- Add vanilla and salt
- Mix well
- Pour into pastry shell
- Top with pecans
- Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes
