Pecan Cornbread

Ingredients
- 1 12 c yellow cornmeal
- 1 c unbleached flour
- 14 c sugar
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 12 c half and half
- 34 c butter melted
- 2 large eggs lightly beaten
- 12 c chopped pecans
Directions
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl make a well in center of mixture
- Set aside
- Combine half and half and remaining ingredients
- Add to dry ingredients stirring just until moistened
- Pour batter into a well-greased loaf pan
- Bake at 375 for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden
- Remove from pan and serve immediately or cool on a wire rack
