Ingredients

  • 2 3 oz pkg cream cheese softened
  • 12 c sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
  • 34 c dark corn syrup
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 14 c chopped pecans
  • 3 Tbsp margarine or butter melted

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese on medium speed until smooth Add 12 cup sugar 1 of the eggs1 teaspoon of the vanilla and the salt Beat just until combined Spread the cream cheese mixture onto bottom of the pastry Spread pecans over the cream cheese mixture
