Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 12 c melted butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 12 c white corn syrup
  • 12 c brown sugar packed
  • 1 to 2 c chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Mix cake mix 1 egg and melted butter well
  2. Reserve 23 cup of this batter
  3. Spread the rest into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan
  4. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned
