Pecan Pralines

Ingredients

• 3 c sugar
• 3 Tbsp Karo
• 1 c buttermilk
• 2 Tbsp hot water with 12 tsp soda
• 14 lb oleo
• 14 tsp salt
• 1 qt pecans
• 2 Tbsp vanilla

Directions

1. Mix together sugar Karo buttermilk and hot water with soda Add to ingredients the oleo and salt
2. Cook until it forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water
3. Add pecans and vanilla
4. Stir until creamy then drop by spoonful on buttered dish
