Pecan Sandies
Ingredients
- 1 c butter
- 13 c sugar
- 2 tsp water
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 c flour
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 c chopped pecans
Directions
- Cream the butter and sugar Add water and vanilla Mix well Blend in flour salt and nuts Chill for 4 hours
- Shape into crescents or fingers using about 1 tablespoon of dough per cookie Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 for 20 to 25 minutes Remove from pan
- Cool slightly
- Dust with powdered sugar
- Makes about 3 dozen cookies
