Pecan Thins

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c sugar
- 2 c plain flour
- 1 egg separated
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 c pecans finely chopped
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add flour
- Add egg yolk and vanilla Batter will be stiff
- Spread as thin as possible on 2 cookie sheets
- Lightly beat egg white
- Spread on top and sprinkle with nuts
- Press in with hand
- Bake 1 hour at 275 or lower
- Remove from oven and cut into squares immediately
- Freeze well
