Pecan Wafers

Ingredients

• 2 c flour
• 1 c sugar
• 1 Tbsp milk
• 1 egg yolk unbeaten
• 1 c chopped pecans
• 14 tsp salt
• 12 c Crisco
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 egg white unbeaten

Directions

1. Sift flour add salt and sift again
2. Cream shortening
3. Add sugar and egg yolk
4. Cream
5. Add milk and vanilla then add all dry ingredients and mix well
6. Roll to 18-inch thick brush with egg white and sprinkle with pecans
7. Bake in moderate oven at 350
8. When done cut in squares
