Pepper Steak A La Cheddar Noodles

Ingredients

  • 14 c butter
  • 1 12 lb steak cut into 2 12 x 12 x 18 strips
  • 18 tsp garlic powder
  • 13 c chopped onion
  • 1 12 c green peppers cut into narrow strips
  • 1 1 lb can tomatoes
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 c wide noodles
  • 1 c shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Melt butter
  2. Add beef and sprinkle with garlic powder
  3. Saute until browned
  4. Remove meat from skillet
  5. Add onion and green pepper saute 2 minutes
  6. Return to skillet with tomatoes and bouillon cube
  7. Simmer 30 minutes
  8. Blend together cornstarch water soy sauce sugar and salt
  9. Add to meat mixture and cook until thickened
  10. Reduce heat and cook 2 minutes longer
  11. Prepare noodles and toss with grated cheese
  12. Serve meat over noodles
