Perfect Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 1 lb butter not margarine
- 2 c sugar
- 2 Tbsp cream
- 6 eggs
- 2 Tbsp vanilla
- 2 c flour
Directions
- Add sugar to butter gradually and cream together
- Add eggs one at a time then add cream
- Add flour gradually then add vanilla
- Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan
- Drop pan to remove any bubbles
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour until brown and springy
- Freezes well
