Perfect Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 1 lb can pumpkin 2 c
- 12 c sugar
- 14 c brown sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 12 tsp cinnamon
- 34 tsp ginger
- 12 tsp cloves
- 14 tsp allspice
- 1 to 1 12 c evaporated milk
- 9-inch pie crust
Directions
- Heat oven to 425
- Prepare pie crust
- Beat eggs slightly then beat in remaining ingredients
- Pour into pie crust
- Bake 15 minutes
- Reduce oven temperature to 350
- Bake 45 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean
- If using fresh pumpkin it is juicier than canned pumpkin so reduce milk to approximately 1 cup
