Persimmon Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 c persimmon pulp
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c sugar
- 12 c margarine or butter
- 1 egg
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 12 tsp nutmeg
- 14 tsp cloves
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 c chopped walnuts
- 1 c raisins optional
Directions
- Beat persimmon pulp soda sugar and margarine until creamy Beat in egg then add flour cinnamon nutmeg cloves and salt Fold in walnuts and raisins Drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet Bake at 375 for 12 to 15 minutes
- Makes about 3 dozen
