Peter Paul Mound Cake
Ingredients
- 1 c Crisco
- 2 c sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 c self-rising flour
- 1 c plain flour
- 1 c milk
- 2 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Cream Crisco add sugar and beat until fluffy
- Add whole eggs one at a time beating well after each addition
- Add vanilla to milk sift flour together and add part of the flour mixture
- Add milk and then remaining flour to batter
- Beat until smooth and thoroughly mixed but do not overbeat
- Pour batter into 3 greased and lightly floured cake pans
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes in preheated 350 oven
