Pfeffernuessen Peppernuts Von Heinrichs

Ingredients

• 2 c brown sugar
• 2 c white sugar
• 1 c shortening
• 3 eggs
• 2 c sweet cream
• 3 tsp baking soda
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 c pecan pieces
• flour approximately 9 to 10 c

Directions

1. Cream the shortening sugars and eggs
2. Combine baking soda with the cream and add to first mixture
3. Add vanilla nuts spices mix spices with a portion of the flour and flour enough to make stiff dough
4. Chill
