Pickled Beet Salad

Ingredients
- 1 pkg cherry Jell-O
- 1 16 oz can diced beets
- 12 c sugar
- 12 c vinegar
- 12 cloves
- mayonnaise
Directions
- Drain juice from beets and add to vinegar Add enough water to make 2 cups liquid
- Add sugar and cloves and simmer 10 minutes Remove cloves and pour liquid over Jell-O Stir until dissolved Add beets and mold
- Serve on shredded lettuce with mayonnaise
