Ingredients

  • 4 c carrot sticks
  • 34 c vinegar
  • 34 c sugar
  • 1 Tbsp mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp celery seed
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Cook carrots in boiling water for 5 minutes Drain and set aside In a saucepan combine the balance of ingredients with 12 cup water Bring to the boil Add carrots cover and cook for 6 to 7 minutes until carrots are tender but still crisp Chill in vinegar mixture overnight
