Pickled Carrot Sticks

Ingredients
- 4 c carrot sticks
- 34 c vinegar
- 34 c sugar
- 1 Tbsp mustard seed
- 1 Tbsp celery seed
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- Cook carrots in boiling water for 5 minutes Drain and set aside In a saucepan combine the balance of ingredients with 12 cup water Bring to the boil Add carrots cover and cook for 6 to 7 minutes until carrots are tender but still crisp Chill in vinegar mixture overnight
