Pickled Cocktail Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 2 4 oz cans button mushrooms
  • 1 c white wine or cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 shredded bay leaf
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 3 whole black peppercorns
  • 1 clove garlic sliced
  • 1 slice lemon

Directions

  1. Combine vinegar seasonings and mushroom liquid
  2. Boil for 3 minutes
  3. Turn off heat
  4. Add mushrooms and place in a glass jar Refrigerate overnight but flavor improves if refrigerated for 1 to 2 weeks
