Pickled Okra
Ingredients
- 6 cloves garlic
- 6 pods hot pepper
- 6 tsp dill seed
- 3 tsp mustard seed
- 1 qt vinegar
- 1 c water
- 12 c salt
- small okra pods
Directions
- Scald 6 pint jars Bring vinegar water and salt to a boil Add garlic pepper dill and mustard
- Simmer 5 minutes
- Place small okra pods and spices evenly into scalded jars
- Pour liquid over okra and seal
- Let stand at least a week
