Pickled Squash
Ingredients
- 8 c thinly sliced squash
- 2 c onions sliced
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 c vinegar
- 1 34 c sugar
- 12 tsp celery seed
- 12 tsp mustard seed
- 12 c diced green peppers
Directions
- Put squash and onions in bowl Sprinkle with salt and let stand for 1 hour Combine sugar celery seed mustard seed and vinegar Bring to a boil Add squash and onions Bring to a good simmer Put in hot sterilized jars and seal
