Pie Crust - Easy - Never Fail

Ingredients

  • 5 c flour
  • 1 lb or 2 c lard
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • ice water

Directions

  1. Crumble ingredients with pie blender Beat 1 egg in cup and finish filling cup with ice water
  2. Mix all together
  3. Roll into crust
  4. Makes 2 2-crust pies or 4 single or 8 apple dumplings Crust freezes well
