Ingredients

  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 23 c shortening
  • 4 Tbsp cold water

Directions

  1. Mix flour and salt together in a bowl Add the shortening and mix it into the flour and salt with a fork or your fingertips until the mixture has the texture of coarse crumbs Mix in the water a little at a time Refrigerate to chill before rolling out the dough
