Pigs FeetTrotters
Ingredients
- 12 pigs feet split in half lengthwise
- 4 bay leaves
- 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 large onions thickly sliced
- 6 stalks celery with leaves cut into chunks
- 10 to 12 whole black peppercorns
- 4 c cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic split
- 3 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp Tabasco sauce
Directions
- Have butcher split the trotters for you
- Then scrub each one until super clean
- Put the pigs feet and all other ingredients in a large pot and cover with cold water
- Cover tightly and bring to a boil over high heat
- Reduce heat and simmer slowly 3 to 4 hours or until fork-tender
- Be prepared to dine
- Serves 10 to 12
