Pineapple Nut Squares

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 1 stick margarine or butter
• 4 eggs
• 1 12 c flour
• 12 tsp soda
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 16 oz can crushed pineapple
• 1 c nuts chopped or sliced

Directions

1. Melt butter and cream with sugar
2. Add eggs one at a time mix well
3. Sift flour soda and salt together
4. Drain pineapple well
5. Add butter sugar and eggs mixing alternately with flour mixture
6. Add nuts and pineapple
7. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes
8. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar
