Pineapple Orange Congealed Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz can crushed pineapple undrained
  • 1 6 oz pkg orange gelatin
  • 2 c buttermilk
  • 1 c flaked coconut
  • 1 c chopped pecans
  • 1 12 oz carton frozen whipped topping thawed

Directions

  1. Place pineapple in a saucepan bring to a boil stirring constantly
  2. Remove from heat
  3. Add gelatin stirring until completely dissolved
  4. Stir in buttermilk coconut and pecans Cool
  5. Fold in whipped topping
  6. Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or dish
  7. Chill until firm
  8. Yields 15 servings
