Plain Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 3 12 c sugar
• 1 c butter flavored Crisco
• 1 c butter
• 10 eggs
• 4 c self-rising flour
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp salt

Directions

1. Cream butter Crisco and sugar together
2. Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition
3. Add remaining ingredients and beat thoroughly
4. Place in oven that was preheated at 275
5. Bake for 1 hour then turn heat up to 300 and bake for another hour or until done
