Plantation Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients
- 2 c cooked pumpkin
- 12 c sugar
- 1 12 tsp cinnamon
- 14 tsp cloves
- 12 tsp ginger
- 14 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 c milk
Directions
- Beat all the ingredients together
- Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture
- Pour into unbaked pie shell
- Bake in very hot oven at 450 for 10 minutes
- Reduce heat to 375 and bake until knife comes out clean
