Play Clay

Ingredients

• 1 c flour
• 1 c water
• 12 c salt
• 1 Tbsp cooking oil
• 2 tsp cream of tartar
• food coloring

Directions

1. In a medium saucepan combine all ingredients except food coloring
2. Mix together by stirring with a spoon
3. Cream of tartar makes it less sticky
4. Cook mixture slowly over medium heat While cooking add a few drops food coloring
5. Clay is ready when it forms a ball
6. Let cool
7. Knead the clay
8. When it is soft and smooth its ready to play with
