Plum Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 c all-purpose flour
- 12 c sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 12 tsp baking powder
- 12 c milk
- 3 Tbsp shortening or butter melted
- 2 c sliced fresh prune plums 1 12 lb
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c boiling water
- 12 tsp nutmeg
Directions
- Sift flour salt and 12 cup sugar and baking powder
- Add milk and melted shortening beat until well blended
- Turn into a greased baking pan
- Cover with sliced plums
- Sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg
- Pour boiling water over the whole thing
- Bake in preheated 375 oven for 45 minutes
