Ingredients

  • 2 fresh trout whole and cleaned about 12 lb each or two fillets about 1 to 1 12 lb total
  • 13 c milk
  • 13 c water
  • 4 to 5 slices lemon
  • 14 to 12 tsp allspice
  • 14 tsp salt
  • couple sprigs parsley

Directions

  1. Place fish in skillet just large enough to hold both
  2. Add combined milk water lemon slices spice salt and parsley
  3. Cover and cook over low heat 20 to 25 minutes until just tender and flaky to a fork test
  4. With large spatula carefully remove to warm platter garnish with lemon slices
  5. Pour Caper Sauce over all and serve immediately
