Ingredients
- 2 fresh trout whole and cleaned about 12 lb each or two fillets about 1 to 1 12 lb total
- 13 c milk
- 13 c water
- 4 to 5 slices lemon
- 14 to 12 tsp allspice
- 14 tsp salt
- couple sprigs parsley
Directions
- Place fish in skillet just large enough to hold both
- Add combined milk water lemon slices spice salt and parsley
- Cover and cook over low heat 20 to 25 minutes until just tender and flaky to a fork test
- With large spatula carefully remove to warm platter garnish with lemon slices
- Pour Caper Sauce over all and serve immediately
