Pocahontas Pie

Ingredients
- 1 baked pie shell
- 1 lb can pumpkin
- 1 egg separated
- 12 c half and half
- 13 c plus 1 Tbsp brown sugar firmly packed
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 12 tsp nutmeg
- 14 tsp ginger
- 18 tsp cloves
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1 c miniature marshmallows
- 1 7 oz can Reddi-Wip
Directions
- Combine pumpkin egg yolk half and half 13 cup brown sugar salt and spices in a heavy saucepan
- Mix thoroughly
- Sprinkle gelatin over surface and let stand 5 minutes
- Bring entire mixture to a full boil stirring constantly
- Remove from heat and add marshmallows stir until melted
- Chill until slightly thickened
- Fold in egg white beaten to a meringue with 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Put in cooled shell
- Chill in refrigerator several hours
- Just before serving top with Reddi-Wip
