Polenta With Cheese

Ingredients
- 6 13 c water
- 2 23 c coarse cornmeal
- 7 oz Fontina or Gruyere cheese thinly sliced
- 5 oz butter
- salt
Directions
- Bring water to boil add salt and sprinkle in cornmeal stirring constantly
- Cook over low heat for 40 minutes
- Polenta is cooked when it begins to leave the sides of the saucepan
- Add cheese and cook stirring constantly for 5 minutes
