Polish Sausage And Lentils

Ingredients
- 1 c rinsed lentils
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 3 cloves
- 1 medium can tomatoes
- 2 lb Polish sausage
- 1 tsp sugar
- 12 tsp pepper
- salt to taste
- 1 bay leaf
Directions
- Rinse lentils
- Put in large saucepan with salted water to cover and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes or until tender and still holding shape
- Drain and reserve liquid
