Polish Sausage And Sauerkraut

Ingredients
- 4 c sauerkraut rinsed
- 1 medium apple chopped
- 14 c brown sugar
- 14 c water
- 12 tsp caraway seeds if desired
- 1 to 1 12 lb Polish sausage or ring bologna
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except sausage in large skillet Place sausage on top
- Cover and simmer 30 minutes until heated through
- Weiners or smokie links can be used for the Polish sausage
