Poor ManS Cake

Ingredients

• 2 12 Tbsp Crisco
• 1 large box raisins 16 oz
• 1 c sugar
• 2 c boiling water
• 12 tsp cloves
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 Tbsp baking soda
• 2 c flour
• 1 tsp baking powder

Directions

1. Mix together first 4 ingredients and simmer 15 minutes
2. Add cloves nutmeg cinnamon and baking soda and cool slightly
3. Add flour and baking powder and bake for 40 minutes at 350 until done
