Pork And Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops 34-inch thick
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 12 tsp dry mustard
  • 12 c chili sauce
  • 3 cans kidney beans drained

Directions

  1. Trim the fat from the chops
  2. Season with salt and pepper Heat the oil in frypan
  3. Add the chops and cook over a low heat until browned on both sides
  4. Remove the chops
  5. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons fat
  6. In remaining fat saute the onions and garlic for five minutes
  7. Stir in mustard chili sauce and beans
  8. Season to taste with salt and pepper
  9. Arrange the chops on top
  10. Cover and bake for 45 minutes at 350
