Pork Chop And Rice Casserole Or Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops 34-inch thick or 6 pieces chicken
- enough flour to dredge
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 12 c chopped celery
- 2 cans tomatoes
- 1 c uncooked rice
- 1 c onion chopped
- salt and pepper
Directions
- Dredge meat in flour
- Cook in a little shortening until brown Put in 2-quart or larger baking dish
- Brown pepper celery and onion
- Put in dish with meat
- Add rice on top then tomatoes Bake in 350 oven until tender about 45 minutes
- Might have to add 12 cup water when gets dry
