Pork Chops Hungarian

Ingredients

  • 4 loin chops
  • 12 tsp caraway
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp paprika
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • 14 tsp dried dill weed
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 1 c water
  • 23 c sour cream

Directions

  1. Trim fat off chops
  2. Brown chops in small amount of shortening in 8-inch pan
  3. Drain fat
  4. Combine onion caraway salt paprika dill weed garlic powder and water
  5. Add to pan cover and cook over medium heat for 1 hour until chops are tender
  6. Watch the juice
  7. It evaporates add water every so often
  8. Transfer chops to warm platter
  9. Stir sour cream into juice in pan
  10. Heat through
  11. Do not boil
  12. Spoon over chops
