Pork Chops With Lima Beans
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops 34 to 1-inch thick
- salt and pepper to taste
- flour
- shortening
- 1 can lima beans
- 1 Tbsp chopped onion
- 1 c whole tomatoes drained
- 12 tsp sugar
Directions
- Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper
- Coat chops with flour brown on both sides in hot shortening
- Place lima beans in casserole dish sprinkle with onion
- Place chops on beans top with tomatoes
- Sprinkle with sugar
- Bake covered at 325 for 1 12 hours until chops are tender
- Liquid from tomatoes can be used during baking if necessary
- Makes 4 servings
