Pork Supreme
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean boneless pork shoulder
- salt and pepper
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1 c chopped celery
- 1 c chopped green onions
- 1 c uncooked rice
- 2 12 c chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 c green peppers
Directions
- Cut meat in thin narrow strips
- Season with salt and pepper Brown in oil using an ovenproof skillet
- Add celery green onions and peppers
- Saute until tender
- Stir in rice broth and seasonings
- Bring to a boil cover and bake at 375 until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed
- Fluff rice with a fork
