Pot Roast

Ingredients
- 3 lb chuck pot roast beef
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 14 c water
- 34 c beef broth
- 12 c onion
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 bay leaf
- 12 tsp pepper
- 12 tsp ground ginger
Directions
- In a Dutch oven brown roast in hot oil
- Combine water broth tomato sauce onion sugar vinegar salt cinnamon bay leaf pepper and ginger
- Pour over meat and bring to a boil Reduce heat cover and simmer until meat is tender about 2 12 to 3 hours
- You can make good gravy with the drippings
