Pot Roast Meat Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lean beef
- 23 c canned milk
- 13 c Progresso Italian style bread crumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 to 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 14 tsp pepper
- dash of minced garlic
- 2 strips bell pepper chopped fine
- 3 medium potatoes
- 3 onions sliced 14 inch thick
- 3 medium carrots sliced lengthwise
- 2 tsp dried parsley flakes
- 1 tsp salt
- few grains pepper
Directions
- Mix first 8 and shape into a loaf in center of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan
- Peel and slice potatoes onions and carrots sliced lengthwise
- Mix parsley flakes salt and pepper
- Place vegetables in layers around meat
- Sprinkle each layer with part of salt mixture
- Cover pan tightly with foil
- Bake in 375 oven for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender
- Uncover and bake 10 minutes more to brown meat
- Serves 4
