Ingredients

  • 2 c cubed fully-cooked ham
  • 6 medium potatoes peeled and thinly sliced 2 lb
  • 14 c finely chopped onion
  • 13 c all-purpose flour
  • 2 c milk
  • 3 Tbsp fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp butter or margarine melted
  • 2 Tbsp finely snipped parsley

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350

  11. and pepper Repeat layering ham potatoes and onion
  12. Season with additional salt and pepper
  13. Sift remaining flour atop
  14. Pour milk over all Bake covered in oven
  15. for

  18. 1
  19. 14 hours or until potatoes are nearly tender
  20. Uncover
  21. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter
  22. sprinkle
  23. atop
  24. casserole
  25. Top
  26. with
  27. parsley Bake 15 minutes more
