Potato Cheese Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1 c mashed potatoes
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 12 c milk
  • 8 oz shredded American or Cheddar cheese
  • 12 c flour
  • 14 tsp baking powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • oil for frying

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except for oil mix well
  2. Pour about 2 inches of oil into frying pan get oil hot but not smoking or use Fry Daddy
  3. Drop batter by tablespoons 4 to 5 at a time into hot oil
  4. Fry 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown
  5. Serve immediately
  6. Makes about 24 puffs
