Potato Filling

Ingredients

  • 12 large potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 12 loaf white bread cubed
  • 12 bunch celery diced
  • 4 onions diced
  • 12 c parsley minced
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 12 lb butter or oleo
  • 2 c warm milk
  • 4 eggs

Directions

  1. Melt 14 pound butter in each of 2 skillets
  2. In one brown the bread cubes until crisp
  3. In the other stir-fry onions and celery until soft and translucent
  4. Mash the potatoes adding the milk eggs salt and parsley
  5. Fold in the celery and onion mixture and the bread cubes carefully so the cubes remain whole Pour into a large baking dish and bake at 350 for 12 hour
