Potato Soup
Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 1 stalk celery
- 2 Tbsp margarine
- 14 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- pinch of ground allspice
- 12 tsp parsley
- 1 12 oz can evaporated milk skim
Directions
- Melt margarine in medium saucepan
- Chop celery and onion finely and saute in margarine
- Peel and dice potatoes into 12 to 1-inch cubes add to pan
- Add spices and just barely cover with water
- Cover and boil for 15 to 20 minutes
- Add canned milk reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally to prevent scorching
