Potatoes Boulangere

Ingredients

  • 2 onions thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 4 medium potatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 c consomme one 8 oz can
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 14 tsp pepper
  • 34 tsp ground marjoram
  • 14 c minced parsley

Directions

  1. Cook onions in butter for 5 minutes or until soft and golden Add potatoes consomme salt pepper and marjoram
  2. Cook covered over lowest possible heat for 25 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender
  3. Sprinkle with parsley
  4. Makes 4 servings
