Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 4 sticks butter
• 3 c sugar
• 3 c plain flour
• 6 eggs
• 1 Tbsp vanilla

Directions

1. Cream the butter and sugar together until very smooth Add eggs one at a time Beat just until yellow is all through the mixture Add flour one cup at a time beating only until mixed after each cup Add vanilla Stir until stirred in
2. Spoon into tube pan and cook at 300 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done
