Powdered Sugar Angel Food Cake

Ingredients

• 12 egg whites room temperature
• 1 13 tsp cream of tartar
• 23 c sugar granulated
• 1 12 c powdered sugar
• 12 tsp salt
• 2 tsp vanilla

Directions

1. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff
2. Fold in 1 tablespoon at a time the granulated sugar
3. Sift together the powdered sugar flour and salt
4. Fold into egg mixture
5. Add vanilla
6. Bake in tube pan at 375 for 45 minutes
7. Invert the cake while cooling
