Prize Winning Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 2 c sugar
- 12 c shortening
- 2 eggs
- 5 raw apples well chopped
- 1 c chopped pecans
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 12 tsp cinnamon
- 12 tsp nutmeg
- 12 tsp cloves
- 12 tsp salt
Directions
- Cream sugar and shortening together Add eggs and mix well Add dry ingredients and then nuts and apples Bake 45 minutes at 350
